If you’re looking for a high-quality, cost-effective alternative, DispoVet sutures are also a good choice. This suture material offers consistent, humane and affordable quality with CE marking, and has proven itself in various Dutch hospitals and veterinary clinics. It comes with a high-quality needle, made from European-grade steel ‘made in Germany’.

Petcryl sutures are also a cost-effective alternative to the more expensive premium-brand sutures.

Petcryl Sutures for Animals

Petcryl PGA is a resorbable, braided multifilament coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate. This surgical suture material provides excellent tissue retention and is further distinguished by its high tensile strength and ease of use.
